"Vocal Art Network", together with Druskininkai Artists' Residency (DAR), invites a professional singer (alto or tenor) to take part in the massterclasses, which take place in Druskininkai Resort on May 13-20.

Requirements:

good vocal skills (academic preparation);
English language skills (the courses will be held in English);
desire to explore contemporary music techniques;
experience in choral singing.

The topic of the masterclasses is effect-singing and collective improvisation. During the course, the "Vocal Art Network" and selected composers will delve into the unconventional notation and contemporary music performance methods, under the guidance of Austrian composer and conductor Rupert Huber and improvisational music performer, body-mental coaching pedagogue Doris Huber. 

The course will culminate with a concert on May 20 at the Church of the Blessed Mary's Scapular in Druskininkai, featuring premieres of works by Rupert Huber, Robert Moran, Andrius Šiurys, and Mantvydas Leonas Pranulis.

During the program, the participants are provided with accommodation in Druskininkai Composers' Guesthouse and a 250 euro honorarium. Email for appications (with a CV): [email protected].
